National Homeless Persons' Remembrance Day

Each year the first day of winter is also commemorated as National Homeless Persons' Remembrance Day. This important observance is dedicated to remembering those in the homeless community who have passed away during the previous year. It serves as a solemn reminder to honor their lives and to reflect on the ongoing crisis of homelessness in our society. Winter is an especially challenging time for those experiencing homelessness. The cold weather magnifies the struggle to find shelter and safety. During the holiday season, heightened attention on giving to others provides an opportunity to shine a light on this pressing issue – and help us find more ways to take action to help.

At K3 Holdings and Alpine LA Properties, we are completely committed to addressing homelessness and increasing the availability of affordable housing. Our mission goes beyond just providing housing as we strive to create a pathway to stability and independence for those in need. We have partnered with multiple organizations to give the most vulnerable in our society the tools to find shelter and rebuild their lives.

A significant part of our focus is on supporting those who are facing homelessness, especially our veterans who have served our country. These individuals often face unique challenges upon returning to civilian life.
